Hydroseeding is a planting process that uses a slurry of seed and mulch. It's often used as an erosion control technique on construction sites and for landscaping purposes. It is an alternative to the traditional process of broadcasting or sowing dry seed. When you choose us, you can avoid the struggle of growing your grass on your home or office property.

As a member of the International Association of Hydroseeding Professionals (IAHP), we provide quality hydroseeding services. Rely on us to ensure the best results with our high-quality hydroseeding mixture, that is made with the following ingredients:
  • Seed
  • Water
  • Fertilizer
  • Tackifier (glue)
  • Wood fiber mulch
  • Bonding material
The machine mixes the above mentioned ingredients and then sprays the mixture with a high-pressure hose or cannon to distribute seeds evenly across the lawn.

Check out the Hydroseeding Process for New Construction Sites

During the construction of a new home, the following things happen:
  • Stripping of the topsoil
  • The foundation is dug and the house is built
  • When the house is completed, the track loader takes the topsoil, that has been removed, and spreads it around the house
  • At this point, Garden by the Barn will smoothen the topsoil out by removing rocks, sticks, and / or other debris
  • They will then make a nice seed bed
  • This is then followed by hydroseeding to get the best seed coverage
